제목 Nanofibrous Scaffolds Fabrication using Salt-Induced Bundled Electrospinning for Spatially Regulating Cellular Responses
초록 Patterned structures of fibrous matrices have been highly valuable factors for spatial manipulation of cellular constructs, specifically for neural engineering approaches, in which striated alignment or directional growth of axons are key elements for the functional recovery of damaged nervous systems. In this study, patterned fiber bundled scaffolds comprising longitudinally stacked multiple nanofibers were fabricated by salt-induced bundled electrospinning and named as SiEP bundles. The SiEP bundles possessed remarkably distinctive morphological and topographical characteristics: multi-complexed infrastructures with nano- and microscale fibers, rough surfaces, and soft mechanical properties. SiEP bundles resulted in cellular elongations and induced highly robust neurite extensions along the patterned fibers. Furthermore, the neuronal differentiation of hNSCs on the topographically rough grooves of the SiEP bundles boosted.
