제목 Synthesis of O-I hybrid adhesion promoters for adhering organic and inorganic materials and their properties
초록 Adhesion promoters, also known as coupling agents, are the compounds obtaining capability to create endurable bonds between organic and inorganic materials. These compounds are very useful for improvement of mechanical and adhesive strengths of hybrid materials as well as modification of surfaces. In this study, O-I hybrid adhesion promoters were prepared using alkoxysilane functionalized polymer precursor (APAS), which is then applied between polyurethane and metal substrate. The parameters of various precursors including particle size distribution, surface adhesive strength, surface morphology, drying speed of materials applied onto substrate were determined by scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering test, and shear strength test. Once applied onto metal substrate, our O-I hybrid adhesion promoters expressed very good adhesive strength between polyurethane and substrate.
