제목 Surface modified magnetic nanoparticle synthesis for selective capture and effective enrichment of biomolecules
초록 Glycoproteins play crucial roles in a multitude of biological processes, such as molecular recognition, cellular signal transduction, and immune response, and so on. Due to the significance of glycoprotein biomarkers for early clinical diagnostics and treatments of diseases, a lot of research to develop efficient and selective enrichment platforms for glycoproteins has been conducted. However, most of glycoproteins exist in low abundance and coexist with high-abundance interfering nonglycoproteins in sample. In this study, monodispersed and uniformly sized MNPs were synthesiezed to selectively capture and concentrate glycoproteins. To improve glycoprotein binding affinity and dispersibility in aqueous solution, the surface of MNP was functionalized. In addition, the morphologies, chemical compositions, electromagnetic properties, and selective capture properties of MNP were investigated.
