제목 Polypropylene nanocomposite reinforced with surface-modified alumina nanoparticles
초록 After surface modification of γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles with silane coupling agent, polystyrene-grafted γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a high energy irradiation technique. The polymer graft yield increased with the absorbed dose. The graft yield was higher at 50 vol% monomer solution than at 70 vol%. With these surface-modified γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles, the polypropylene nanocomposites were fabricated followed by E-beam irradiation. The surface-modified γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles and surface-modified γ-Al2O3 nanoparticles reinforced nanocomposites were characterized by TGA, FT-IR, SEM, and UTM.
