Scratch visibility in polypropylene compounds with Polyethylene |

In this study, we have studied scratch behavior of polypropylene(PP) compounds by different type of polyethylene(PE) Instead of rubber. To establish a correlation between scratching whiteness phenomenon and a sort of polyethylene. Scratch behavior were examined with polarizing microscope. The morphology surface of grain pattern was investigated Scanning Microscope. Scratch performance affect scratch visibility on damaged surface. The resistance to scratch deformation is discussed in terms of PP/PE micro space which from debonding and separation of PP/PE phase accordance with density and molecular weight of Polyethylene. |
