Properties of a complex PLA/PP blending System |

A complex Polylactic Acid(PLA) / Polypropylene(PP) blending system was prepared by using an extrusion molding technique at the extrusion temperature of 210°C. Various property dependences on material parameters such as the composition of the main constitutes(PLA and PP) of the blend system, heat stabilizer and compatibilizer were investigated. All the property data were interpreted in terms of each material parameter content and compared with respective SEM micrographs. The research was supported by a grant from the Academic Research Program of Chungju National University in 2012. |
