제목 Evaluation of the thermal properties using N-doped graphite fiber by urea treatment
초록 In this study, the electrical resistance and thermal properties of pitch-based graphite fiber(GF) was studied. To modify their electrical properties, nitrogen functional groups were introduced on GF by urea treatment. heating properties were investigated according to the treatment conditions. Urea treatment has been carried out with different urea ratios urea at 200 ℃ for 2 h. The surface properties of these N-doped GF were examined by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). The diameter of GF have been also measured by scanning electron microscope(SEM). The heating properties and resistance of N-doped GF have been determined thermo-graphic camera and Programmable electrometer, respectively. From experimental results, the surface temperature of N-doped GF was increased with increasing the urea content. The maximum temperature of GF treated by urea was observed 53.5 ℃ at 60 V, which showed 55 % of improved heating characteristics compared with non-treated GF.
