Synthesis of α-amino-ω-anhydride-heterotelechelic poly(ethylene oxide) andits application for preparation of nano-sized Fe3O4 particles |
초록 |
An alkoxide bearing sodium or potassium counterion is well known to initiate ethylene oxide leading to living polymerization. In this study, phthalimide was converted to the corresponding sodium imine in THF using sodium metal, followed by polymerization of ethylene oxide at room temperature for 48h. α, ω-heterotelechelic PEO is expected to be readily synthesized by chain-end functionalization. After complete polymerization, trimellitic anhydride chloride was delivered into the reactor via a breakseal technique under high vacuum followed by deimidation using hydrazine monohydrate. The resulting α-amino-ω-anhydride-heterotelechelic poly(ethylene oxide) was reacted with folic acid leading to generation of α-amino-PEO-folate conjugate. Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared by using of PEO-based hetero-bifunctionalized polymer with zinc acetate in water at 60℃. In this presentation preliminary results will be reported. |
