제목 The effect of the temperature of kneading and carbonization on carbon block manufacturing using wasted graphite
초록 The artificial graphite is widely used in various industrial fields such as anode material for Li ion battery, electrode for metal smelting. Wasted graphite is used as filler of carbon block in this study. For production of high quality artificial graphite, understanding the effect of kneading, carbonization and graphitization process temperature is essential. In kneading process, optimum temperature for high density carbon block was in the point that the fluidity of the binder pitch reached its highest value. In carbonization and graphitization process, the vaporization of low molecular weight compound is proceeded and thus, the densities of carbon blocks are decreased to some point. And the crystallinity of carbon structure is increased along with the carbonization/graphitization temperature.
