제목 | Oxidaion Of High Manganese Steel in High Temperature |
초록 | The high manganese steel has high-strength and high-formability to apply as light weight automotive sheet. Therefore, we examine the behavior of high temperature oxidation of high Mn steel as a function of the Mn content between 700 and 900oC in air. After oxidation the samples, the oxide scales formed were investigated by XRD, SEM, EDS and EPMA. The bi-layered oxide scale formed. External layers formed in the sequence of Fe2O3, Mn2O3, MnFe2O4, whereas internal layers were discrete layers of AlN and MnAl2O4. Fe-(20~30%)Mn alloys displayed good resistance at 700, 800 ℃. At 900℃, the oxide layer became thinner by decreasing the Mn component.
