제목 Synthesis and Characterization of water-soluble p-conjugated polymers based on phenothiazine and fluorene
초록 To fabricate multi-layer structured PLED (polymer light-emitting diode) or OPV(organic photovoltaics), hole injecting/transporting materials should have solvent resistance to polymer solution for the successive layer coating. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS) is well known water-soluble material based hole injection material. However, the device based on PEDOT:PSS is unstable due to its acidic nature. Phenothiazine derivatives had good hole-injection/transporting properties due to their high HOMO energy level. We synthesize water-soluble p-conjugated polymers or oligomers based on phenothiazine and fluorene derivatives which has quaternary ammonium salt on the end of alkyl chain. The electrochemical property was obtained by cyclic voltammatry. Also PLED and OPV based on water soluble polymers and oligomers were fabricated and characterized. In this presentation, we will report synthesis, electrochemical, and device properties.
