New Photopolymer and their Holographic grating composed of Different Initiation Process |

The development of new photopolymer (PP) system had gained much attention in recent years due to the advantages of dry process, ease of storing information and many kinds of application such as data storage, information processing, and display technology. Several kinds of new PP systems were designed and prepared using hexaarylimidazole analogue and DEAW. This molecular combination to generate the radical species can achieve pure refractive index modulation without absorption grating under a proper selection of the visible wavelength of writing beam. The holographic gratings were successfully fabricated in these PP film samples by conventional optical interference method. The dynamic behaviors of the grating formation were studied with the change of exposure wavelength and the intensity for the writing beam in terms of the diffraction efficiency. |
