제목 Zirconium-Molybdate Embedded Anion Exchange Polymer Adsorbent for Arsenic Removal
초록 Molybdenum oxide has a potential to remove arsenic in water due to the ability to form complex ions with arsenate. However, the chemical stability of molybdenum oxide is poor in high pH region. In this study, zirconium-molybdenum oxide particle, which was precipitated on activated carbon, was directly introduced into anion exchange polymer to prevent molybdate ion releasing. The direct introduce method allowed the content of molybdate to be controlled in a wide range. The adsorption capacity of this hybrid adsorbent could be improved as the content of molybdate increased in the adsorbent.
