제목 Effect of promoter on Ni based alumina catalyst with bimodal porous in steam methane reforming
초록 In this study, the bimodal meso-macroporous alumina catalysts with low Ni content (8 wt%) and promoters (Mg, Ca, Zr, Ce and La) was prepared by evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) method. The promoter metals into meso-macroporous alumina (MMA) were applied for preventing the deactivation of steam methane reforming (SMR). The SMR was carried out under conditions of GHSV 18,000 h-1, S/C ratio 2.5, and reaction temperature 650 °C, and the Mg promoter showed the highest methane conversion and hydrogen selectivity. The catalytic characteristics by XRD, H2-TPR, SEM, and TEM indicated that the ordered mesopore structure together with macropores was fabricated, and the Ni and promoter particles were mainly stabilized inside the mesoporous channels of alumina support and had the strong interaction between Ni and Al2O3.
