제목 Schiff base derivatives for Fluorescence pH Sensors and Photopattern Images
초록 A novel schiff base displayed the acid-sensory properties as colorimetric and fluorescent transducers to the strong acid analytes. To examine the acid sensitivity, it was investigated to the effect on the absorption and the fluorescence of the compound by simply adding trifluoroacetic acid to a chloroform solution of the compound and as a result, the multiple color fluorescence was sharply changed. Increasing the amount of the acid, the maximum peaks of absorption and fluorescence spectra were bathochromically shifted and then treating the base of pyridine, they were recovered. For the development of the thin film optical sensors, the fluorescence color changes were dependant on the pH variations based on the chemical amplification . In a mixed solid film of the compound with PMMA and a photoacid generator, the fluorescence spectrum was hypochromically changed at 470nm and hyperchromically at 600nm upon the photoirradation. Also, the color of the film was reversibly changed upon exposing to HCl and pyridine vapors.
