iCVD (initiated chemical vapor deposition) is a process that can deposit various kinds of functional polymer films in vapor phase. The functionality of polymeric coatings can be easily incorporated by introducing various kinds of monomers. The CVD coatings can act as an essential building block for device applications. Here, the application of iCVD polymer films to various devices and surface treatment will be reviewed. |
