제목 Applications of sensitive electrochemical biosensors
초록 Although electrochemical immunosensors have some advantages, such as inexpensive cost, specificity, sensitivity, accuracy, and portability, they have a problem of suffering from the electrode fouling that can cause the reduction of sensitivity and reproducibility. Also, the hydrophobic surface inside the plastic microchannel has recently been modified with various chemical treatments. However, these methods cause denature and inactivation of antibodies in immunosensor due to chemical modifications and random orientation.
In this work, a highly sensitive plastic-based electrochemical microfluidic immunoassay platform was developed by a novel fabrication method preventing electrode fouling and novel bifunctional crosslinkers for rapid and simple self-oriented immobilization of antibody onto gold and silica substrates.
