제목 | Manufacturer of the open cell magnesium alloy foam with pore size control structure |
초록 | Metal foam has so many excellent properties, such as lightweight, incombustible, thermal insulation, sound absorption, energy absorption and pro-environment[1], that it is attracting concerns of many people. The Mg alloy foam has not only characteristics of magnesium metal, but also a new class of properties of novel physical, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and acoustic[2]. By the reason of the open-cell foam has a complex macrostructure consisting of an interconnected network. Open cell foam is also valuable to be a body-bone as a degradable biomaterial. It usually is used as heat exchangers, because they have a high coefficient of thermal conductivity, increased surface area . The space holder is usually a mineral salt which is relatively low melting point, so this is a limitation for processing The physical property of granule determines the different pore size and relative density which determine the complex macrostructure and the mechanical properties. Recently for biological materials, Especially the outer layer of the body's bones are small holes, the inside layer of the body's bones are big holes. This requires us to fabricate a similar structure of biological materials. So open cell mg alloy metal foam with controlled pore size structure is particularly important. In this paper, the open cell mg alloy with controlled pore size structure is success to casting, the open cell process was introduced, and the structure and mechanical properties were investigated. |
