제목 A novel design of spiropyran crosslinker for mechano-responsive hydrogel
초록 Spiropyran, which has unique properties due to reversible ring opening isomerization, have advantages when introduced to stimuli-responsive hydrogel especially, as a mechano-responsive hydrogel. However, introducing spiropyran, a hydrophobic molecule, is difficult into hydrogel. In this study, spiropyran functionalized by polyethylene glycol(PEG) is hydrophilic which enable easy introduction into hydrogels as crosslinker. Mechano-responsive hydrogel crosslinked with spiropyran crosslinker transferring stress directly to spiropyran has great sensitivity for mechanical stress. It responses not only at external stress and also internal stress like swelling kinetic. In addition, the properties of hydrogels can be adjusted only by spiropyran crosslinker which means that absorbance or fluorescence intensity of hydrogel also can be controlled by spiropyran crosslinker.
