The biggest change brought about byCOVID-19 is the advent of the non-contact era. The characteristic of thenon-face-to-face era is that the speed of conversion to digital is very fast.The characteristic of the digital age is to improve productivity by effectivelyconnecting people and things by utilizing the Internet of Things, and big datawith artificial intelligence(AI) technology. Facing the non-contact era, thegovernment is actively investing in new technologies in the bio, information,environment, and nano fields. With the changes brought about by the pandemic,it is necessary to promote creative and transformative science, technology andR&D policies in line with international trends. |
