Recently, porous materials have been investigated extensively due to their high surface area and have found wide applications such as catalysis, adsorption and electronics. Among the various conducting polymers, polyaniline (PANI) and polypyrrole (PPy) have been widely studied because of its intrinsic conductivity and good environmental stability. Conductive inverse opal PPy films coated with PANI via vapor phase oxidative polymerization using the colloid templating method under ambient conditions. The inner walls of porous PPy film could be coated with PANI via vapor phase polymerization. IR analysis confirmed the existence of PS and PPy. Porous PANI / PPy structure was observed by naked eyes and a scanning electron microscope. This work provides significant advantages for the future energy storage application. |
