제목 | Hybrid Metal Oxide Inverse Opal Nanostructures as Cathode in Li-O2 battery |
초록 | The lithium-oxygen battery has the potential to deliver extremely high energy densities. However, the practical use of Li-O2 batteries has been restricted because of their poor cyclability and low energy efficiency. Non-precious catalysts including metal oxide can be considered as potentially useful alternative electocatalysts. Inverse opal structure has 3 dimensional interconnected nano-framework. Its porous architecture has high surface area for catalytic activity and allows for accommodation of charge-discharge products as well as facile oxygen transfer. Transition metals have attracted great attention due to their noticeable capacity retention and electrochemical capacity. In this work, we investigate the formation of a series of CoOx, MnOx and hybrid CoOx-MnOx inverse opal structures and pursuit their application as cathode in Li-O2 battery. The morphologies and structures of the composites were analyzed using SEM and XRD, respectively.
