제목 Fluorescent pH sensing membrane based on sol-gels immobilizing 2-hydroxy-3-pyrrolone derivatives
초록 To find a broad pH range optical sensing system based on fluorescence quenching, the immobilization of 2-hydroxy-1,2-dihydropyrrol-3-one derivatives on sol-gel matrix was investigated. The addition reaction of fluorescamine with amines produces 2-hydroxy-1,2-dihydropyrrol-3-one derivatives possessing hydroxyl and carboxylic moieties, which have strong fluorescence emission and their fluorescence intensities are dependent on pH in solution. To prepare the optical sensing membrane, fluorescamine was initially incorporated into silica gel of which surface is functionalized with amino groups, and the silica adduct was immobilized in sol-gel matrix by entrapment method. Sensing properties, stability and pH response range of the sensing membrane are reported.
