Solution Processable Organic Solar Modules |

Organic solar modules (OSMs) have been got attention because they can be applied various field likes IoT sensor, wire-less power source, building integrated photovoltaics with solution processability, large-area and flexible devices. For fabrication of high performance OSMs, vacuum process is essential that increasing fabrication cost. Furthermore, for successful transfer of small area to large-area, the morphology and interfacial properties are very important. Thus, by replacing top layers to solution processable organic-inorganic complex layers, it is possible that the OSMs can be applied continuous fabrication process. We fabricated OSMs through slot-die coating process which is better matched for forming large-area film. The film formation between top layers with difference interfacial properties is crucial for high performance. The complex layers enabled interfacial matching and morphological benefits for high quality film formation and efficient carrier transport. |
