Among the multiferroic characteristics, magnetoelectric (ME) effect can be defined as an induced electrical voltage given by applying a magnetic bias field. Recently, polymer-based ME composites have been studied with various types of 3-0, 2-2, 1-3 structures due to high flexibility resulting in strong piezoelectric voltage constant (g33).In this study, for high feasibility of magnetoelectric devices, CoFe2O4(CFO)/grephene oxide(GO) sheets were designed as a two-dimensional magnetostrictive filler in a piezoelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) matrix. In order to enhance diple moment in the ME films, beta-phase conformation, confinement effect, and impedance curves were simultaneously investigated with variations of lateral size of fillers and CFO amount. As a result, a feasible ME response of 35 mV/cmOe was achieved from the polymer composite films based on strong confinement effect, high beta-phase, low leakage current, effective strain transfer, simultaneously. |
