제목 Synthesis of Magnetite Core / Titania Shell Nanoparticles via Layer-by-Layer Self-Assembly Method
초록 Magnetite(α-Fe3O4) core/titania shell nanoparticles were successfully prepared by layer-by-layer(LbL) self assembly method. Magnetite nanoparticles were used as a template, on which a charged polymer and titanium precursor were alternatively deposited several times through layer-by-layer self assembly. The polymer/titania multilayer coated magnetite nanoparticles were slowly annealed at high temperature for 24 hrs to convert into crystalline titanium dioxide nanoparticles in the shell phase. Hollow titania nanoparticles were obtained by chemical etching the coated nanoparticles in aqueous acidic solution. The morphology, composition, crystal structure of titania spheres were further characterized by transmission and scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDS) and X-ray diffraction.
