Liquid –liquid extraction of nickel (II) using amine extractants |
| 초록 |
The liquid –liquid extraction of Ni (II) using amine based extractant in hexane diluent was investigated as a function of aqueous pH, equilibration time, initial Ni(Ⅱ) concentration and aqueous to organic ratio, etc. The maximum extraction (99.6 %) was achieved with 5.0 % of triethylamine (TEA) extractant in hexane diluent at 50 mg/L of nickel ions in 50 ml of aqueous phase at pH 4.5. The extracted Ni (II) was stripped from the organic phase with 0.5 M HCl as a effective stripping reagent. The reusability of solvent mixture (TEA-hexane) was also tested. |
