제목 Highly Sensitive and Selective Liquid-Phase Sensors Based on a Solvent-Resistant Organic Transistor Platform
초록 The applications of organic field-effect transistor (OFETs) in various types of sensors (e.g., chemical, biological sensors) have attracted great interest owing to their high potential in light-weight, flexibility, and large area electronics. Nonetheless, organic semiconductors have an intrinsic drawback for use as an active layer in ‘practical’ sensors: poor resistance of organic semiconductors in common organic solvents. For this reason, OFET-based sensors have been only demonstrated with sensors for vapor- and aqueous-phase analytes. Herein, we demonstrate highly sensitive and selective OFET-based sensors based on solvent-resistant organic semiconductors. The chemically cross-linked P3HT-azide copolymers have been introduced to increase the resistance of active layers to organic solvents. Various liquid-phase organic solvents and pH solutions have been adopted successfully as the analytes and reliable sensing behaviors have been obtained from the solvent-resistant OFET sensors.
