제목 Flexible Piezoelectric Nanogenerators Comprising Electrodes Consisting of a Conducting Polymer and Silver Nanowire
초록 With increasing the demand of portable electronics, energy harvesters for the low powered system have been spotlighted. Piezoelectric technology is one of the promising ways to harvest electrical energy from mechanical energy. Poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) is an organic piezoelectric material, which is suitable for flexible devices. General electrodes such as Au, Al, and ITO are hydrophilic and brittle, not good matching with PVDF and the piezoelectric nanogenerators(PNGs).
Conducting polymers(CPs), one of good electrode materials, are flexible, but high resistance. Silver nanowires(AgNWs) have excellent electrical properties, but form random network.
In this study, a CP comprising a thiophene derivative was synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The CP and AgNW were introduced to PNGs as electrodes The PNG showed better performance than one with single electrode material.
