제목 | Silver nanocrystal metamaterials fabrication by ink-jet printing |
초록 | In this study, we present the inkjet printing of silver colloidal nanocrystals for the functional metamaterials fabrication. The silver nanocrystal dispersion are used as printing ink, and the flexible PET film is used as the substrate. Using the ink-jet printing process, the few micron featured silver nanocrystal-based patterns were fabricated over large areas of up to a 10cmⅹ10cm centimeters of complex patterns. For coupling between nanocrystals, the long ligand of the original nanocrystal was exchanged to –SCN, short conducting ligand by chemical process with low temperature. [1] The ink-jet printing and curing process with low temperature process allows for the demonstration of these metamaterial patterns on the rigid substrates as well as, on the various flexible polymers substrates. The optical and electromagnetic property of the metamaterial patterns were tuned by the choice of pattern size and shapes, the dielectric function of the nanocrystals.
