제목 Unique Piezochromic Luminescence of Dicyanodistyrylbenzene-Based Covalently Linked Single Molecular Donor–Acceptor–Donor Triad : Fabrication of High Contrast Rewritable Piezochromic Fluorescence Recording Media Through Simple Spin-Coating Method
초록 In this discussion, we have mainly focused on realizing a novel piezochromic luminescent system with high contrast ratio and good processability. To this end, we have synthesized a novel covalently linked single molecular donor–accpetor–donor (DAD) triad, m-BHCDCS 1 incroporating a unique dicyanodistrylbenzene (DCS) unit as electron acceptor. m-BHCDCS 1 exhibits intriguing luminescence on–off switching behaviour in response to various external stimuli, especially mechanical stimulus, with high contrast ratio. We have utilized this phenomenon to successfully demonstrate rewritable piezochromic fluorescence recording media with high contrast ratio (ca. ~103) and high stability (stable over several weeks under ambient condition) through conventional wet-processing method (simple spin-coating method). Moreover, it offers an opportunity to understand the emission behaviour of a covalently linked single molecular DAD in various molecular assemblies.
