The aim of this study was to deliver anticancer drug using chitosan-PCL block copolymer. The block copolymer was synthesized by radical polymerization. Firstly, chitosan of hydrophilic was dissolved in distilled water. Then, initiator agent was added in chitosan solution and reacted for 1hr at 60℃. Afterward, synthesized PCL-macromer with PCL and acryloyl chloride was slowly added in the reactant and stirred for 6 hr at 60℃. The reactant was precipitated by acetone and washed for 3times. Final product was obtained by vacumm dry. The characterization of chitosan-PCL block copolymer was analysed by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, CMC, DLS and TEM. These results suggest that di-block copolymer was able to apply as drug carrier.
