제목 Contactless magnetomotility of helical soft robots
초록 Magnetically actuated helical soft robots implement untethered manipulation without on-board weight penalty. Herein, we synthesized magnetically active 3D helical polymer composites with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) matrix and iron particles. The 3D helical geometry was constructed by two-step curing system from pre-cured 2D composite film. A permanent magnet placed on uniaxial moving stage resulted in rolling motions of soft robots when the angular momentum exceeded rolling resistance. In this presentation, various factors affecting magnetomotility of the soft robots will be discussed including velocity of magnet displacement as well as magnetic flux density.
