제목 | Interconnectable OrganicLight-Emitting Diode Fibers for Water-Resistant, Relieved Light-Deadzone,Fibrous Textile Displays |
초록 | Organic light-emitting diode(OLED) fibers have beenexpected for a new application ofwearable displays based on suitable electroluminescence characteristics andinterconnectable pixel arrangements. However, the current OLED has severalissues such as limited emission area and lack of passivation. In this study, wepresent OLED fiber displays that can accomplish the sizable area emitting andthe reliable stability by the materialization of matrix comprised only ofinterlaced phosphorescence OLED fibers and well-defined thin-filmencapsulations. Bystacking multilayers consisting of metal/oxide/polymer for preventingoxygen/water permeation, in addition, it shows reliable bending stabilityaccording to the fiber characteristics made of polyimide (PI), water-resistantfull-emitting-area fiber textile displays can be expected. |
