As increasing demands of shape deformation display, flexible display evolves in terms of Bendable, Foldable, and Rollable OLED Display for various IT applications from smartphones and TVs. However, in Rollable OLED Display, it is technically problematic due to the multi-layer stacked structures which are also exposed to non-uniform and large shape deformation stress. Therefore, in order to overcome this problematic deformation a well understanding of this multi-layered Rollable OLED structure is highly desired. In this study, to circumvent deformation stress of multi-layered Rollable OLED Display, we studied a controlled neutral plane structure design method. By increasing the number of neutral planes of rolling deformation stability in Rollable OLED Display was investigated by using of analytic study with Finite Element Method (FEM). Details of results would be presented with visual and mechanical strain studies. |
