The study on the environmental-friendly fiber material using characteristics of the CMC water soluber fiber |

The manufacturing characteristics of water soluble fiber were studied using carboxymethylcellulose(CMC) prepared from viscose rayon. The process of CMC fiber consist of mercerization, etherification, washing, drying. Mercerization and etherification is concerned about solubility. Drying is concerned about tensil strength and fiber surface improvement. First we use two additive MgSO4 and Na2SO4 for improvment of tensil strength. we compare of the solubility, tensil strength. Second we estimate the reaction times for the maximum practicality.
