제목 | Stable Nickel on phosphorus promoted bimodal porous alumina for enhanced coke tolerance in low-temperature steam methane reforming |
초록 | In this study, the Ni based hierarchical structure alumina support with low Ni content (8 wt%) and phosphorus promoter was prepared by EISA method. The phosphorus as a non-metallic element into meso-mesoporous alumina (MMA) was added to prevent its deactivation. The catalysts were prepared by increasing the P/Al molar ratios to 0, 0.02, 0.05, and 0.1, respectively. The SMR was carried out under conditions of GHSV 18,000 h-1, S/C ratio 2.5, and reaction temperature 650 °C, and the Ni/MMA-0.05P showed the highest methane conversion and hydrogen selectivity. It was confirmed that the methane conversion was higher than that of the conventional catalyst, and the activity was maintained even in the long-term durability test.
