제목 Sulphonic Acid Modified Periodic Mesoporous Organosilicas(SAM-PMOs) Materials for Applications of Metal Ion Adsorption
초록 Bissilylated urea bridged periodic mesoporous organosilica (BU-PMO) precursor have been successfully synthesized through co-condensation of 2,6-diaminopyridine and triethoxysilylpropylisocyanate at 85 oC under N2 atmosphere for 24 hours. The bissilylated urea precursor has been utilized to prepare BU-PMO with various BU precursor to tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) ratios, using Pluronic P123 as a structure directing agent in acidic conditions. The surfactant was removed by solvent extraction method using 1% HCl-ethanol at 60oC.The amine group of BU-PMO was further modified using chlorosulphonic acid in chloroform solvent. Chemically functionalized materials were shown to be suitable for the adsorption of metal cations with high selectivity from aqueous solution. The adsorbed metal ion amounts were determined by inductively-coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) analysis.
