Metalcontainingantibacterial polymers were prepared by the polymerization of methylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid with copper or zinc. When the thin film of the polymers coated on silicon wafer was irradiated with electron beam and UV, nanoparticles were obtained.Reduced thin film by the Electron beam and UVhad strong biocidal activity against E. coli and marine microbiology. |
