The fibrous electronics has been known as an alternative technology for the realization of the next generation electronics applications specifically in organic light emitting diode (OLED) devices. Next generation OLED device based on transparent conducting electrodes (TCEs) with highly transparent flexibility, and low sheet resistance in order to replace indium tin oxide (ITO) were still the main current challenging issues. In this works, the metal grid and PEDOT:PSS was employed for the fabrication of fibrous OLED on metal grid/PEDOT:PSS hybrid TCEs. As a results, hybrid TCEs has semi-transparency (Transmittance>45% at 550nm), high conductivity (Sheet resistance>3ohm/sq.) and low bending radius (Radius ~ 1mm). Fibrous OLED were fabricated using hybrid TCEs. The experimental results are a luminance of 2500 cd/m2 is observed at 10 V, and the maximum current efficiency of 45 cd/A. |
