제목 Semi-Crystalline Photovoltaic Polymers with Noncovalent Conformational Lock, Showing over 9% Efficiency with Long-Term Thermal Stability
초록 Despite recent remarkable progress in polymer solar cells (PSCs), the development of highly efficient and thermally stable PSCs have been challenging. Here, we report a series of semi-crystalline low band gap polymers and demonstrate the fabrication of highly efficient PSCs that simultaneously achieve power conversion efficiency of over 7% and outstanding long-term thermal stability for 200 h at 130 °C. These excellent characteristics are closely related to the molecular structures where intra- and/or intermolecular noncovalent conformational lock assures strong interchain interactions without losing solution processability. The crystalline polymers form a well-distributed fibrillar networked morphology with PC70BM with an ideally balanced hole and electron mobility (with e/h mobility ratio of nearly 1 for PPDT2FBT:PC70BM). Furthermore, methanol treatment of the optimized devices demonstrated efficiency of over 9% (best of 9.39%) in a conventional single-cell device structure.
