High contrast top emitting organic light emitting diodes employing periodic dielectric-metal anti-reflection top cathode structure |
초록 |
The authors report a high contrast ratio (CR) top emitting organic light emitting diodes (TOLEDs) employing periodic dielectric-metal anti-reflection (AR) coating, which is deposited on top semi-transparent cathode. Cr used as absorption layer in cathode structures because Cr shows high absorbance and low reflectance. LiF also used as dielectric layer, which is acting on phase compensate layer. As a result of integration of highly absorptive thin metal layer to AR, absorptive AR cathode structure is fully adoptable with any kind of TOLEDs regardless of using highly reflective metal (Al or Ag etc.) as top and bottom electrodes. Therefore, enhancement of light emission is expectable due to maintaining interference effect. |
