Nowadays, there are many studies to substitute thermal evaporation process and the transfer process is one of them. The representative transfer processes are microcontact printing and laser induced forward transfer. In this context, the hydrographic printing suggests another manufacturing method of OLED devices. The principle of new technique is floating hydrophobic film on the hydrophilic water. Dropped polymer solution diffuses suitably on the water to vaporize solvents, so the neat film can be transferred without damaging underneath layer. But the transferred device had lower performance than the spin-coated device because water affect to device in the process of fabrication. To solve this problem, we did various attempts and finally found a way to improve. |
