제목 Multi-MISPE of Catechin Compounds from Green Tea
초록 The optimum experimental condition was obtained by optimizing operating factors, such as, the extraction solvent, extraction time and operating temperature. An efficient optimization method was used to separate catechin compounds by RP-HPLC. The caffeine and some catechin compounds were extracted from green tea by using two MIPs as sorbent materials in a SPE process known as MISPE. This multi-SPE protocol was applied for the extraction of caffeine and some catechin compounds from green tea. A comparison was made between the results obtained with the caffeine and (+)C MIP cartridges, blank polymer cartrides, and a traditional C18 reversed-phase cartridge. The adsorption isotherms in the MIPs were measured and the parameters of the equilibrium isotherms were estimated by linear and nonlinear regression analyses. It was thereupon found that the recovery of caffeine by the caffeine-MIP-based sorbent used in this work was almost two and four times greater than that by a commercially available C18 material.
