제목 Synthesis and Optical Property of Bis(heteroarylamino)anthraquinone Derivatives for Color Filter Pigment
초록 In color filter (CF) of LCD, the role of pigments is to express full color from reflecting or absorbing light at specific wavelengths by using red, green and blue pigments when white-backlight passes through. Therefore, optical characteristics of pigments used in CF must allow light to pass the specific wavelength in order to remain other specific wavelength with abundant light intensity. In this study, we synthesized bis(heteroarylamino)anthraquinone derivatives having various position, such as 1,4- and 1,5-bis(heteroarylamino)anthraquinone. The opticalproperties according to substitution position were also investigated. UV-visible absorption maximum values of 1,4-BPAQ and 1, 5-BPAQ were 586 and 520 nm and those show plateau peaks. These compounds show high molar extinction coefficient values as 103~104 (L/molcm). The synthesized materials are expected to be applied to pigments for LCD CFs as well as image sensors.
