제목 A Study of Molecular Adsorption Behavior on Mesoporous Carbon Materials
초록 Commercial activated carbon materials are well known as useful adsorbent with gas or liquid phase chemicals for purification and separation, such as benzene, toluene, chromium, lead, and so on. The valuable application is a matter to high surface area and porosity, but the sorption property of activated carbon had some limitation due to small pore size and absence of proper surface functional group. To overcome these disadvantages, large pore or functionalized carbon materials are needed and the simple way to prepare mesoporous carbon materials, which has larger pore size than activated carbon and functional groups, is nano-casting technique. Replicated mesoporous carbons, which have various pore sizes from 3 nm to 10 nm or containment of hetero atom according to Lee et al., are used in the present work to study the adsorption behaviors of various chemicals.
