제목 Preparation of a monodisperse nanoparticle array with sub-nanometer level size tuning via Block copolymer lithography
초록 We report on the fabrication and catalytic application of a size-tunable monodisperse nanoparticle array prepared by block copolymer lithography. Highly ordered vertical cylinder nanodomains were achieved in the block copolymer template prepared by solvent annealing of poly(styrene-block-4-vinylpyridine) (PS-b-P4VP) diblock copolymer thin films in a mixed solvent. The prominent diffusion of the anionic metal complexes into P4VP cylinder nanodomains is viable through highly specific electrostatic interaction in a weak acidic aqueous solution containing ionic metal complexes. This well-defined diffusion within nanoscale confinement enabled the laterally ordered monodisperse nanoparticle array with sub-nanometer level precise size tuning. The controlled growth of monodisperse nanoparticle arrays was proven by their catalytic usage for vertical carbon nanotube (CNT) growth via catalytic PECVD.
