제목 Synthesis of uniform colloidal silver nanocubes via AgCl-assisted polyol chemistry
초록 Colloidal silver nanocubes have been intensively studied for optoelectronic and catalytic applications. Synthesis of uniform and shape-controlled colloidal silver nanocubes is especially challenging since conventional AgCl-assisted synthetic methods show poor reproducibility and scalability due to insufficient dissolution of AgCl particles in the polyol reaction medium. In this work, uniform colloidal silver nanocubes are synthesized using AgCl-assisted heterogenous nucleation reaction, reducing the required reaction time. The reaction mechanism was thoroughly investigated using various characterization techniques, as well as density functional theory calculations. Furthermore, large scale synthesis of colloidal silver nanocubes were demonstrated.
