제목 Preparation and Characterization of Nanocomposites Based on Cellulose Nanofibers and Thermoplastic Materials
초록 Cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) were successfully prepared by high pressure homogenizer. The nano-scale diameters and large surface area of CNFs were useful properties for application in the polymer composites as the reinforcing material. The nanopaper was produced using a wet-laid sheet forming process by adding the polyamide 6 (PA6) fibers into the CNF slurry. The optimal nanopaper was contained 40 wt.% CNFs based on the solid content. The nanocomposites were made by CNF/PA6 sheets and thermoplastic polymers, such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS) and PA6 polymer for use as a part of an automobile. The thermal pressing process was applied for bonding between the CNF/PA6 sheet and the thermoplastic polymer. In comparison with the thermoplastic matrix, the improvement result of tensile strength, modulus and flex strength of nanocomposites composed of CNF/PA6 sheet and thermoplastic polymer was confirmed that the reinforcement effect of CNFs.
