Fabrication and Characterization of Nb2O5- doped 3Y-PSZ Nanosized Powders by a Chemical Process |

Nb2O5 doped 3Y2O3-ZrO2 nanosized powders were prepared by precipitation from metal nitrates with aqueous potassium hydroxide. Spherical Nb2O5 doped 3Y2O3-ZrO2 nanosized powder was obtained at the range of 185-230 ℃ and 6 h. The average size and size distribution of the synthesized particles were below 15 nm and narrow, respectively. The XRD diffraction pattern shows that the synthesized particles were crystalline. |
